Ernest “Ernie” LeBlanc Jr., 70, born in Hubbardston, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2026, at his home in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, with his beloved wife, Mitzi Smith LeBlanc, by his side. Ernie was born on March 31, 1956, and grew up in Hubbardston, Massachusetts. He was the eldest son of Ann LeBlanc (Johnson) and Ernest LeBlanc Sr., both of whom predeceased him. Ernie was also predeceased by his first wife, Maryanne. He was a proud graduate of Quabbin Regional High School, Class of 1974, after attending Hubbardston Center Elementary School. He leaves behind his beloved daughter, Christina Kingsley, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Sarah Parks and her husband, Michiel; David and his wife, Debbie; James and his wife, Amy; and Laura Beauregard and her husband, David; stepdaughter Tabitha Leivdal, and her husband, Jay; and stepson Richard Trottier, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ernie was a self-employed mason and took great pride in his work. He was also a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus in Gardner, where he enjoyed the friendships and fellowship he found there. Ernie especially enjoyed the farm and the animals he and Mitzi shared. Caring for the animals and spending time on the farm brought him great happiness and was a meaningful part of the life they built together. He also loved spending time at Hampton Beach every summer and looked forward to those days filled with sunshine, relaxation, and cherished memories. An avid poker player, Ernie enjoyed a good game and the laughter, stories, and camaraderie that came along with it. He had a way of enjoying life’s simple pleasures and making memories wherever he was. Above all, Ernie will be remembered for his love of his wife and family, his faith, his love of animals, and his ability to find joy in the people and things that meant the most to him. He will be deeply missed by Mitzi, his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Ernie leaves behind a lifetime of memories at the farm, with his wife and animals, at Hampton Beach, around the poker table, and most importantly, with the people he loved. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
