Eric L. Annis
Eric L. Annis, owner of the Lary Funeral Home and a Dover-Foxcroft native, graduated in 1974 from Foxcroft Academy, attended the University of Maine at Orono before graduating in 1979 from New England Institute in Boston, MA. Growing up in the Lary Funeral Home, the son of Philip S. and Jane (Doble) Annis, he has always known the value in guiding the families he serves with care and compassion.
He has two children, Ethan and Emily Annis and one sister, Lorinda (Annis) Schrager. Eric enjoys the Maine outdoors, especially at the family camp on Sebec Lake, his hunting camp in Guilford with his son, Ethan, and snowmobiling in the winter. He served many years as a Selectman for the Town of Dover-Foxcroft, was a long-time member and past president of the Dover-Foxcroft Kiwanis, served two terms as a board member and in 1992 as President for the Maine Funeral Director's Association, and is an Honorary Trustee for Foxcroft Academy.
Ethan L. Annis, CFSP
Ethan L. Annis, CFSP, vice-president of the Lary Funeral Home, Inc. and a Dover-Foxcroft native, graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 2003, the University of Maine at Orono, Class of 2007, and from Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2010. The son of Eric L. Annis and Ellen (Church) Annis, Ethan is a third generation funeral director and grandson of the former Jane (Doble) Annis of Milo and Philip S. Annis. Like his father and grandfather, he has a great appreciation for serving families in his local community with empathy and kindness.
Ethan is married to the former Heather Hall of Monson and they have two children, Ella and Evan. Currently serving as the Vice-President of the Foxcroft Academy Trustees, and board member of Penquis Youth Hockey Association. He served many years on the board including one year as President of the Maine Funeral Director's Association, past Chair and 10 year member to the Piscataquis County Advisory Committee of the Maine Community Foundation, past board member for the Piscataquis County Chamber of Commerce, and past board member of Pine Tree Hospice. Ethan enjoys spending time with his family at Sebec Lake, golfing, hunting, and snowmobiling.
Daniel J. Rosebush
Daniel J. Rosebush, a funeral director for Lary Funeral Home, Inc. and also a Dover-Foxcroft native who graduated from Foxcroft Academy, Class of 2007, the University of Maine at Presque Isle, Class of 2012, and Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2015. He is the son of Richard L. and Lori (Noiles) Rosebush. In 2021, Daniel married Bangor native, Taylor (Lewis) Rosebush.
Daniel appreciates the opportunities to work with the families from the communities Lary Funeral Home serves. He continues to serve families as the lead memorialist for Piscataquis Monumental Co.
Daniel enjoys spending time at his camp on Ebeemee Lake with his wife, Taylor, his daughter, Payton, and his son, Wilder. He is currently serving as President for the Piscataquis Valley Snowmobile Club, and was recently named 2022 Volunteer of the Year for the Piscataquis County Soil &Water Conservation District.
