Mike never stopped smiling and always offered his helping hand with joyful thought when possible. Mike is a thought that will never leave and he will be missed always.
Mike would pay a visit each Friday to the DFFD Station. If we had a fire call that day Mike was sure to be there. He always had his Scanner with him and knew where the Alarm was. Each of the Fire men back in the Mike days remember him. I for one enjoyed chatting with Mike and his interest in the Fire Horn on Top of the Station. It would blow at 1 and 9 pm in the old days. Mike was given one of the old Horns that was replaced and he had a Gold Mine. Mike was a special person in many ways and always had a Loving Heart for the Fire Dept. RIP Mike and enjoy the Fire calls you are now going to in Heaven. God Bless Mikes family and all that had him as a friend. Tracy Lord
