Obituary of Lester W. Erving
Kingsbury Plantation – Lester W. Erving, 76, passed away October 25, 2021, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA. He was born February 25, 1945, in Wellington, the son of Perley and Frances (Stewart) Erving. A U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, Lester appreciated the outdoors, spent a lot of time hunting and fishing, and lived in the woods off-grid for many years. He enjoyed being a mechanic and working on automobiles.
Lester is survived by his two sons, Leroy and Fred Erving; four grandchildren, Cassandra Erving, Ashley Russell and her husband, Tyler, Nathan Peters and his wife, Delthea, and Zackary Roberts; brother, Daniel Erving; special sister, Mildred Huff; sister, Deborah Morrison; two former spouses, Irene Erving, who loved him always, and Sherry Erving; special nephew, Darren Huff; good buddies, George and Romeo; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, and two brothers, Theodore and Jeff Erving.
