Obituary of Gladys M. Toce

Dexter – Gladys M. Toce, 88, wife of the late Anthony Toce Sr., passed away peacefully November 10, 2021, at Pleasant Meadow Estates, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born November 19, 1932, in Fort Kent, Maine, the daughter of Albert and Florida Tremins-Goulet. She had a great love for family, cooking, sewing and music. She truly enjoyed helping others and making people happy. She spent a large part of her life serving the greater Dexter area at TJ’s Family Restaurant as the owner and Chef, alongside her husband, and was a friend to all who walked through the door. She was loved by many and will continue to shine a light on all the lives she touched with her love and kindness. Gladys is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Heu and her husband, Eric, and Allison Keyte and her husband, Brian; son, TJ Toce; grandchildren, Jason Langlais and wife, Hillary, Justin Langlais, Jennifer Soczka and husband, Brian, Frederick Black Jr., Courtney Batchelder and husband, Andrew, and Eric Keyte and girlfriend, Belinda Bouth; great-grandchildren, Aiden and Bodhi Langlais, Abigail and Alex Soczka, and Elena and Asunta Batchelder; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony (Tony) Toce Sr., and her daughter, Pamela Black. At her strong request there will not be any services.
