Guilford – Arthur Leland Bailey, 71, husband of Jean Ann (Rogers) Bailey, passed away March 3, 2022, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born January 10, 1951, in Milo, son of Madeline A. (Richards) Mann. Arthur had been employed at Dexter Shoe Co. for many years. He was a faithful member of the Grace Bible Church, Sangerville. He is survived by his wife, Jean, of Guilford; a sister, Rosalie Skillins of Florida; four grandchildren, Skylar Bailey and his significant other, Rissa Wright, Trevan Gray, Bailey Gamblin, and Kai Hunt; a great-grandchild, Amelia Bailey; his in-laws, Marlon and Ruby Woodard, Leslie and Liza Rogers, and Rose and Scott Leland; his four-legged companion, Susie; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer Gamblin; his mother, Madeline Mann; his father, Roy Guerette; a brother, Joe Guerette; and a sister, Marjorie Stone. A graveside funeral service will be held 11AM Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Lawn Cemetery, Guilford, in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
