It was with great sadness that I learned of Peter's passing a few days ago. I was a "Big Brother" to Peter while he attended Foxcroft Academy, through the local "Life Jackets" program run by John Pullen. Along the way I became a "Big Brother" to Peter's younger brother (Frank) too. Peter, Frank and I went on a few canoeing, swimming, hiking and camping adventures together (camping Frost Pond was special, along with doing some house sitting near Great Wass Island), and came to some of my "Field of Dreams" softball games and Christmas parties in Corinth. Both of the boys were chipper, with great dispositions towards and a way at looking at the lighter side of life. I was even able to take Peter to a Red Sox game with 3 other friends, where we bought Right Field Roof Top tickets, but were able to migrate to preferred Infield Roof Top tickets (Pedro struck out 17 but lost 1-0!). I regret drifting apart from Peter and Frank these past 10 years or so, but reflect fondly on my time with both of them. My heart goes out to Peter's fiance, mother, daughter, son, siblings, cousins and friends. David Turcotte

It is with great sorrow that we express our deepest symphathy to each and all of Peters family. It was always good to see him around, if only for a moment. He would always have a smile and a quick joke and sometimes share a memory. He will surely be missed. love Dale & Debbie
