Obituary of Denise Louise Aucoin

Greenville- Denise Louise Aucoin, 65, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on March 28, 2022. She was born March 28, 1957, in Greenville, the daughter of Paul and Cecile (Lamontagne) Gagne. Denise lived with her husband of 42 years in Greenville where they raised their two children. She was a beloved wife and amazing mother. Denise was a caregiver in every sense of the word, whether it was caring for you in the nursing home, in her home daycare, in your home as you aged or babysitting her granddaughter before ultimately retiring. You could find Denise on Moosehead Lake with family and friends, sitting in her recliner knitting winter socks or tatting, out for a daily walk, in the kitchen baking her famous whoopie pies, or lending a helping hand to anyone in need. She is survived by her husband, Terrence, and their dog, Chico; son, Rance and his girlfriend, Zamora, and her son, Okan; daughter, Diane Heal and her husband, Matthew; grandchildren, Josie and Callie Heal; brothers, Yvan Gagne, Michel Gagne and his wife, Cindy, Jeannot Gagne and friend, Rhonda Arey, Denis Gagne and his wife, Shelly; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Diane Gagne; and sister-in-law, Dorothy Gagne. The family would like to thank CHCS New Hope Hospice and Suzanne for their exceptional care over the last few months. Family and friends are invited to call 5-7PM Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, where a Mass of Christian burial will be held 11AM Saturday, May 14, 2022.
