The first time I met Bea and Bob was at the Nazarene Church, she was tending to her sweet husband, with a heart full of love. I was so touched by her faith and spirit I knew there was so much I could learn from her. Raising my girls alone and feeling quite overwhelmed she smiled that winning, accepting smile and began wrapping her arms of faith around me and commended me for my efforts. I couldn't believe my ears, there she was giving her husband 24/7 care I felt as if nothing I could ever do would ever match to her life. I was so blessed by her and her heart. Over the years I was so blessed by her words of wisdom and faith. I will miss our chats dear Bea and I know beyond a doubt that Bob was there standing at heavens gates with Jesus to meet you and even though you both had no children biologically here on earth; you left behind awake of men, women and thousands of children that you accepted and loved as your love for our Lord touched their lives like you did mine. Oh how I wish I could have known you were leaving us so I could have been there to comfort you. I love you Bea and I'll do my very best to make you proud. I will thank God each day for you and your friendship.

I'm glad I talked to her on the phone this year. I remember her bringing Bob to meetings in his wheelchair. I remember her leading communion at Summer Conference, and I will miss her. Blessed are the people whose God is the LORD. He has prepared her a home in heaven.

Bea, you were like a grandmother to me. Even as I have come to accept your passing to Heaven, I still cannot stop the tears from leaving my eyes. I am grateful that there were no words left unspoken between us. You know that I loved you and I know that you loved me. Perhaps what is most difficult is knowing that I will never be able to hug you again, call you for your advice, or hear your sweet voice. We would talk on the phone for hours, typically only having our conversation cut off by one of our phones starting to die. I know how much you enjoyed life, enjoyed ministry, enjoyed everyday as a blessing. But Bea, I know how difficult it was living everyday of these past 24 years without Bob. As of Friday, you no longer had to be without Bob. Not only did you enter into the joy of the Lord, but you ran right into the arms of Bob, embracing once again. When God does call me home, I hope you will be one of the first ones to greet me, because I will miss you everyday of my life. Rest well my friend.
