Obituary of Stephen Thomas Richards
Greenville- Stephen Thomas Richards, 21, passed away unexpectedly October 15, 2016, at his home in Greenville. He was born October 22, 1994, in Greenville, the son of Jonathan P., Sr. and Brenda A. (Aston) Richards. Stephen was a 2013 graduate of Greenville High School, where he excelled in soccer and was part of two Class D Western Maine Championships. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, working on projects, and spending time with friends. Weekends spent at Soldiertown were some of his favorite and he will be remembered as a bright smiling, outgoing person that lived everyday to the fullest.
He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Jerome Richards, and Jonathan Richards, Jr. and his significant other, Marissa Sargent and daughter, Elaina; sister, Kaley Richards and her significant other, Anthony Larrabee; grandmothers, Virginia Richards and Peggy King; girlfriend, Skylar Robichaud and daughter, Channing; two very special cousins, Tristan and Trevor Richards; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased recently by his grandfather, Wallace King and many years ago by his grandfather, Jerome Richards, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Greenville, officiated by the Rev. Fr. Aaron Damboise. Burial will follow immediately in the family lot in Greenville Cemetery. Family and friends are invited back to the church following the committal service to continue to celebrate Stephen’s life.
