Obituary of Ronald E. Adrien

Please share a memory of Ronald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with profound sadness that the family of Ronald Edmund Adrien (Ron) announces his passing at his home October 2, 2022, in Greenville, Maine at the age of 77. Born in Lynn, MA on July 2, 1945, he was the son of Reginald and Thelma Adrien. They later moved to Salem, MA, where he attended Salem High School and met his future wife, Nancy Bianchi. Ron’s service at General Electric ended after 19 years, when he decided to be an entrepreneur. He opened his first video store in Kingston, NH, where he moved with his family in 1978 and grew to six stores in two states. Next he ran, in partnership, Essex House of Pizza in MA. He ventured out again to open the Sebago Wave restaurant on the shores of Sebago Lake. His final destination was in Greenville, ME, Leisure Life and Trailside restaurant where he could pursue one of his passions - snowmobiling. Always by his side was his son, Kevin, who he depended on and helped him accomplish his goals. He was in the Army National Guard, president of the Seacoast Hockey Association, an avid member of the Knights of Columbus in Epping, NH, and really enjoyed grooming for Moosehead Riders Snowmobile club. In his spare time, he loved driving, and camping and fishing with his two children. He adored his grandchildren, loved to go to their soccer games and watched them grow to be young adults. He was proud of his accomplishments and always said it was for his family. He was predeceased by his father and mother; his daughter, Corrie-Lyn Adrien; mother and father-in-law, Albert and Francis Bianchi; and two brothers in-law, John Aucone and Robert Goggin. He leaves behind his wife of 52 years, Nancy (Bianchi) Adrien; son, Kevin and wife, Aurelie Adrien of Greenville; grandsons, Matthieu and Logan; sister, Donna Goggin of Melrose, MA; brother, Keith Adrien and his wife, Sharon, of Taylors, SC; brothers and sisters in-law, Joan Aucone of Danvers, MA, and partner Mike Sabbagh of Boston, MA; Randy and Alice Bianchi-Chalifour of Salem, MA; and many nieces and nephews. We would like to thank Kevin Springer, John Simko, the Northern Light ambulance crew and Pine Tree Hospice for their kindness and caring support. Funeral service will be private where he will be interred next to his daughter in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Northern Light CA Dean Ambulance, 364 Pritham Avenue, Greenville Junction, ME 04442. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Condolences and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
