Guilford – Roger L. Ronco, 77, passed away January 14, 2023, at Northern Light Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born December 7, 1945, in Dexter, the son of Fred and Emma Jean (Heal) Ronco. Roger worked as a floor man at Dexter Shoe Co. for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and roller-skating. Roger was an avid NASCAR fan, especially for Dale Earnhardt. Roger is survived by his loving wife of almost 54 years, Brenda (Herring) Ronco; two sons, Scott Ronco and his wife, Colleen, and Kevin Ronco and his wife, Amy; brother, Duane Ronco; sisters, Mary Richards, Joyce Farley, and Marleen Anderson; grandchildren, Matthew and his wife, Kelly, Chelsea, Devin, and Hunter; and one great-grandson, Avery. A memorial service will be held 10AM Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the Abbot Evangelical Free Church, with Pastor Ray Beless officiating. Burial in the spring will be at the family lot in the Village Cemetery, Sangerville. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
