Greenville- Brett L. Owens, 63, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 30, 2023. Brett was the beloved husband of Cindy (McPherson) Owens for 43 years. He was born August 30, 1959, in Greenville, the son of William L. and Joyce (Ward) Owens. Brett is described by family members as an incredible husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. One of his favorite hobbies was woodworking and you would often times find him in his wood shop. Brett is survived by his wife, Cindy, of Greenville; two sons, Rory Owens and Justin Owens both of Greenville; sister, Karmen Patnaude and her husband, John, of Benton; brother, Billy Owens and his wife, Crystal, of Greenville; sister, Ginger Boucher and her husband, Jerry, of Greenville; brother, Troy Owens and his wife, Shanna, of Greenville; brother, Chad Owens and his wife, Suzanne, of Greenville; special granddaughter, Olivia Owens; sisters-in-law, Patricia Whitman and Molly McPherson of Greenville; brother-in-law, Albert McPherson of Winchester Virginia; and many nieces and nephews.
