Obituary of Clarence E. Laskey
Greenville – Clarence E. Laskey, 97, husband of the late Beatrice (Shaw) Laskey, passed away February 16, 2023, at his home. He was born March 8, 1925, in Castle Hill, the son of George and Susie (Richardson) Laskey. Clarence was a proud member of the U.S. Navy and faithful member of the New Life Church in Greenville.
Clarence is survived by his son, Thomas Laskey; grandson, Tommy Laskey; granddaughter, Jessica Laskey; grandson, Anthony Perkins; granddaughter, Rebecca Rae Jackson; stepson, Robert Brewer; stepdaughter, Stephanie Shaw; step-granddaughter, Michelle Barrett; two-step great-grandchildren, Shawn and Rachel Donnelly; two step-great-great-grandchildren, Lucas and Vincent Donnelly; sister, Mary Scribner; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Clarence was predeceased by his daughter, Jacqueline Munzer; stepson, Dennis Brewer; brothers, Wilmont, Milfred, Arvid, and Merrill Laskey; and sister, Melissa Pecoraro.
A funeral service will be held 1PM Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the New Life Church, Greenville, with a reception to follow. A private committal service will be held in the family lot in the Greenville Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
