Greenville – Theo N. McDonough, 94, went home to be with Jesus on March 2, 2023, at Pleasant Meadow Estates, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born August 26, 1928, in Drew Plantation, the daughter of Frank and Leila (Faulkner) Weir. Family meant everything to Theo, and she spent her entire life caring for others. She was a talented doll-maker, and she enjoyed traveling to craft fairs all over the state of Maine to sell her “character dolls.” Theo is survived by three grandchildren, Stanton Clough II and his wife, Julie, of Greenville, Wayne Dwelley of Calais, and Mary Firth and her husband, Jon, of Auburn; five great-grandchildren, Nathan and Sydney Clough of Greenville, Dakota Harris and his wife, Kaitlyn, of Greenville, Brittany Brown and partner, Zach, of Augusta, and Evan Prindle of Auburn; great-great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Khloee Harris of Greenville, and Brantlee Byrnes of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews. She is now joyfully reunited with her three precious children, Douglas William McDonough, Cynthia Ann McDonough, and Donna Lee McDonough. She is also predeceased by her two brothers, Frank Weir and Russell Weir; three sisters, Avis Richardson, Edna Farley, and Vera Deering; and one grandson, Llewellyn Dwelley Jr. of Calais. Burial will be in the family lot in the Greenville Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
