Jeannette's singing and guitar will always be remembered at Holy Family Church where she led us in song and worship. She was a dedicated parishioner and choir leader. I remember most her cheerfulness.

As you know I have known Nettie almost 50 years and I have never met anyone as up beat positive and willing to help others even as she struggled herself. Q: How did you meet Jeannette?
A: I met Jeannette after I was diagnosed with PH in 2006. I attended some of her meetings. I was told about her support group and called her. I was afraid with my diagnosis. My youngest child was only in 6th grade. The prognosis for PH wasn't very good when I read about it. Jeannette gave me much hope and shared her story with me. I'll never forget how hard she worked to keep the support groups alive. She will be remembered for her work of hope with people with PH. Thank you Jeanette. RIP

Q: How did you meet Jeannette?
A: I met Jeannette when she taught in the Greenville school system and I was the superintendent of schools there. I remember her infectious smile and sense of humor; and particularly one event in which she talked me into participating. She was teaching a class of students in wilderness survival. As I had a lot of experience in camping and outdoor activities through Scouting, she thought that it would be good for me to teach the students how to cook a meal over an open fire, and preparing a campsite. I remember I had some trepidation about this activity, but it all worked out, just as she had planned it.
She will be missed. I am sending prayers for God's comfort to surround David and the family.

Jeannette was such an incredible person, always positive and up beat. I’m sure there were days she wasn’t but she never let them keep her down. I have enjoyed reading her book and I cherish it. I would tell my friends about her and how much she had accomplished. I am so blessed to have met her and be able to call her a friend. She made the world a better place.
