Dover-Foxcroft - Sandra Lee Davis, 82, peacefully passed away while being held in the arms of those who loved her, on April 19, 2023. Sandy was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mattie Jacobi, her father, Frederick Jacobi, and her mother, Miriam Hutchinson. Sandy is survived by and will live on in the hearts of us who hold her so dear, her husband, Richard Davis; her daughters, Gina Servizzi and Melissa Savage; her sons, Robert Servizzi, James and John Savage; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister, Sue Worswick; and her brothers, Bob and Jerry Jacobi. Along with her husband, Richard Davis, Sandy was influential in seeding the Charlotte White Center counseling program some 30 years ago in Dover-Foxcroft. As a teenager Sandy lived in Lowell, Michigan. She worked there at the local Five & Dime. Sandy loved to have fun, especially with her best friend, Sandy Kern, and loved playing with her dog, 8-ball. She accepted responsibilities, helping her younger siblings, meeting their needs as her heart loved their hearts. Sandy was a mother who always placed the needs and wants of her children above her own. When visiting Mom if she noticed you liked something of hers she would often say, take it with you. Mom was a giving tree. She wanted to be and was involved with her children's lives even into their adult years. When there were problems she would pick them up, dust them off and put them back on the right path. Sandy gave her children the greatest gift of all. She taught her children what love is, how it is given and received, by her example, every single day of her life. If we could "Love You" any more, each of us would have to have a second heart to hold "So Much" Love. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the wonderful staff at Northern Light Mayo Hospital. The kindness and compassion shown to their mother will never be forgotten. Sandy will be remembered and celebrated by her family with a memorial service and burial in Lowell, Michigan on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Local arrangements are by the Lary Funeral Home.
