Abbot – Forrest P. Spack Sr., 80, passed away May 6, 2023, at his home. He was born August 12, 1942, in Monson, the son of Walter and Evelyn (Rogers) Spack. Forrest worked in the woods for many years prior to owning and operating the bakery in Guilford in 1981 with his wife, Evelyn. In 1995, they opened the Abbot Bakery together. Forrest was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Forrest is survived by his wife of 60 years, Evelyn (Storer) Spack; four sons, James Spack, John Spack, Joseph Spack and his wife, Gail, and Forrest Spack Jr. and his wife, Angie; two brothers, Gary Spack and Terry Spack and his wife, Joanne; ten grandchildren, Heather Twiggs and her husband, Don, Julie Spack and her fiancé, Ryan Buff, Justin Spack and his wife, Jessica, Kimberly Spack, Brittany Spack, Jason Spack, Stacy Spack, Corey Spack, Alicia Spack, and Emily Spack; sixteen great-grandchildren, Camryn, Tyler, Jaden, Jordan, Madison, Jailyn, Lilly, Elaina, Olivia, Caraline , Oaklynn, Jameson, Tia, Gavin, Liam, and Griffen; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and five siblings, Steven, Zigmond, and Suzy Spack, Mary Sadler, and Nancy Perry. A family celebration of life will be held at Abbot Evangelical Free Church. Burial will be in the family cemetery on the Bates Road in Abbot. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
