My earliest memory of Gerry was from the Log Cabin restaurant time. I also remember jumping on the beds, sneaking outside to get near the lake, and getting into trouble for both!
I liked sharing my name and was shocked that it wasn’t spelt the same way!
Then your family moved to a new house. The lake wasn’t as close, but Gerry had s mini bike! I think is was an Indian. He taught me how to ride it. And he had a pet squirrel!
When Gerry got the job working at the gas station, he became too grown up to hang out with me… So Suzi became my new friend.

Sending thoughts and prayers to you all. Gerry was certainly one of a kind. He worked for us for a time and loved playing pranks on our 2 young boys, they would get mad and stomp home vowing not to go back to the garage, but they always did, usually to try to play a prank on him. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't but he always pulled his cap off, scratched his head, laugh and plop it back on. We thought the world of him. Safe travels Gerry.

Uncle Bub was such a prankster! One day I had just finished cutting up an orange to enjoy. Just as I was about to eat it, he sprayed it with Nanny's spray butter. Nanny made me eat because she didn't want it to go to waste and he enjoyed watching me eat every bite! Life was never boring when he was around!

I remember babysitting for him and Susie when the family lived over their Log Cabin Restaurant in Greenville Jct. Mom and dad would be working downstairs and I'd watch the kids upstairs (I being only 4-5 yrs older than Gerry.) He loved to run about, laughing, teasing and jumping on the beds. He was good natured and a cute little guy.
