Dover-Foxcroft – Jennie Lee (Huff) Burgess passed away peacefully June 5, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born February 5, 1952, in Farmington, the daughter of Richard and Beverly (Grover) Huff. She grew up in North Anson. Jennie was a homemaker who loved her family with everything she had. A colorful person, she loved video games, puzzles, Bingo, and gardening. She always lived life to the fullest and will be sadly missed by many. Jennie is survived by her husband, Arthur Burgess; eight brothers and sisters; two sons, Theodore Burgess Jr. and his wife, Holly, and Andy Burgess and his wife, Mary. She leaves six grandchildren, Nathaniel McFadden, Jamie Farrington, Theodore Burgess III, Breanna Hupper, Dakota Burgess, and Cortney Burgess; and five great-grandchildren, Seanna, Xylin, Camden, Archer, and Aliza. She was predeceased by her parents and three siblings. Please join the family for a Celebration of Life at the VFW Hall, 509 Leighton Road, Augusta on Saturday, June 17, 2023, from 12 noon to 7 pm. There is a bar at the location (no outside beverages allowed). In addition, there will be a potluck dinner; please bring a dish or dessert.
