Guilford – Marjorie L. (Grant) Braley, 87, wife of the late Charles A. Braley Sr. passed away August 4, 2023, at Northern Light Mayo Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. She was born September 28, 1935, in Sangerville, the daughter of Joseph Sr. and Eva (Hamel) Grant. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Linda Stevens and husband, Bruce, of Parkman; daughter, Charlene Braley of Guilford; son, Charles Braley Jr. and wife, Mindy, of Sangerville; four grandchildren, Ashley and Brock Stevens, Natasha Deslauriers and wife, Robyn, and Mikayla Braley; two sisters, Mary Curtis and Marilyn Braley; sister-in-law, Maxine Braley; daughter of the heart, Sherrill Tompkins; grandson of the heart, Jason Tompkins; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Charles, she was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Sr. and Eva Grant; brothers, Joseph Grant Jr., Guy Grant, Alfred Grant, Eddie Grant, and their spouses Gloria, Janice, Beverly, and Judy; and her sister, Linda Goodridge and her spouse, Harold. A graveside memorial service will be held 2PM Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Village Cemetery in Sangerville.
