Milo - Catherine E. Smart, 92, passed away September 24, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born April 15, 1931, in Onawa, the daughter of Clifton and Esther (Perry) Gerry. Catherine was a member of the Dexter Apostolic Faith Tabernacle and was a prior member of the Church of God in Medway. She loved attending her churches. Catherine also enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She is survived by her daughters, Monica Warren and husband, Neil, Laurel Doiron and husband, Bob, and Renee Cuthbertson and husband, Arthur; a half-sister, Isabelle Warren; fourteen grandchildren, Neil Jr., Cecilia, Dennis, Aurel, Robert Jr., Alicia, John, Elizabeth, Samantha, B.J. III, Caity, Chip, Timmy, and Josh; as well as several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Kim Smart; and an “adopted son”, Walter “Sonny” Morris and his wife, Karen. Catherine was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Harris Sr.; two sons, Gregg and Harris Jr.; and a brother, Carroll Gerry. Family and friends are invited to visit from 9:00am until the time of service at 10:00am on October 7, 2023, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft.
