I think I have known Sissy for most of my life from Sunday School, choir, school and friendship. I remember hide and seek at your house with all the neighbor hood kids. Whenever we met you always had a smile and wanted to know how everyone was doing. Your joy of life and concern for others, will never be forgotten. Until we meet again.

I first met Margaret when I started my career on February 7, 1972 at Eastern Maine General Hospital, now NLEMMC in the Radiology department. Margaret was a student in the X-ray program. Kind, caring, and compassionate was and understatement of her ability shown to her patients, as well as fellow staff and colleagues throughout the hospital setting. Her love of family was evident when she spoke of them often with convection of the their goals and accomplishments. She was addressed by many names, Margaret, Sissy, Zwick, Zwicker, and Z., and she accepted them all with grace. She loved, and was loved by all who came in contact with her, who became acquaintances or friends. Just prior to her passing, I loss my mother, and Z and two of my other fellow colleagues, traveled to Northern Maine to attend my mothers celebration of life service. These all true friends that you want to have in your life.
God has certainly gained another beautiful soul, and I thank you Z for your friendship, until we meet again, Rest In Peace ☮️

Zwicky is a cherished friend. She always greeted me with, “Holly Berry!” As a child, she would watch us when m folks would go out of town, and always loved us and cheered for us.
Sometimes my dad would tease her and call her Thelma B. Carver!
I look forward to seeing her again, hearing her laugh, and having a long visit at the Schoodic in the skies.

Margaret was so kind, generous, and an example of Christ like service to everyone she met. I recall back in the mid 80's when I served in Bangor as a church missionary, she invited us to dinner several times and assisted with her gospel knowledge and testimony. Till we meet again. - Brian Shuppy, Layton Utah

Miss Margaret upon retirement started working at our elementary schools in Milo and Brownville. Her kind and caring ways quickly became a staple in our office and classrooms. She went so far as to go to Walmart and buy all the sneakers she could find because my sneaker collection was running low. She then proceeded to periodically organize and resupply my sneakers. She spent countless hours and money making sure our kiddos who needed sneakers where blessed with new ones. So many times my students would say, “ are these mine to keep?” When the reply was a resounding yes, they would leave the gym and travel throughout the school stopping everyone to tell them about their good fortune. These moments were made possible but the efforts of our Miss Margaret. The world should be a better place because a person has lived and Miss Margaret nailed it. Always missed, always remembered.

Remembering the afternoon Sissy came to visit Shelia and me. We went from tears to laughter as soon as she came in the door. We sat and held hands and told more stories. Bless you Sissy you were one of a kind!

Worked with Zwick for many years. We lost contact with each other but at the funeral of a coworker last year we reunited our friedship. We always planned on getting together but time has run out and now it won't happen. I will always remember her laughter and profound love of her family, especially her neices and nephews. May she rest in peace.

Margaret-You carried the name of my mom and so I called you my Margie. You blessed me in so many ways. You will continue to bless me. You loved in so many ways. I will continue to love like you. You laughed with so much joy. I will laugh with joy. Now for the skinny dipping-I will continue to skinny dip like you and think of you every time. Thank you for your wonderful friendship. You will be so missed!❤️

To Margaret's family-I've known Margaret for many years and since my retirement, we have had breakfasts or lunches numerous times.. She would share her latest travels and plans and I'd share mine. She always talked about her family with such love and compassion. I will miss her laughter and smiles.
My deepest sympathies

I will never forget meeting “sissy”officially at our restaurant as we held Erica’s baby shower. She was so funny as I asked her name, “I’m sissy”. A bright light and kind human. Our deepest condolences to the entire family during this difficult time.
Sincerely,

The heavens have indeed welcomed a beautiful soul. Her love for the kids was boundless, her smile lit up their faces. She was as kind as she was wise. From the morning breakfast I brought her, to the peanut butter fluff sandwiches....she most definitely warmed my heart and I looked forward to seeing her every day. God has received one of the best among us. Missed but never forgotten, Sissy.... you are one in a million. ❤️

When I was in 1st grade I wanted to be just like Sissy and look like her.I thought she was the “bomb”. Little did I know then that she would still be the “ bomb” when she was all grown up!Such a friendly, loving person she was.And my parents also looked forward to seeing her at their Dr.’s office where she worked. She will certainly leave a large void within her family and friends. We’re going to miss you Sissy Zwicker.Love to all of your family from Wally and Nancy.

I was saddened to hear of Sissy’s passing. We had a lot of enjoyable hours driving to and from and watching games all over eastern Maine, or northern Maine as they now term it. To say that she loved her nephews and niece would be an understatement. She was devoted to them and supported them in all their activities. I was sorry when “Baby Trev” graduated because I knew I would no longer see her on as regular a basis.
Sissy was just a sweet person and will be sorely missed by her friends as well as her family.

Zwick was a member of our X-ray class way back when. We all lived in the Greystone dorm together, and knew each other quite well. She had a large room and we often gathered in there to bitch or laugh ourselves silly. I remember her family and would see them sometimes when they visited.
I recall my older brother had a crush on her.
I’m terribly sorry to know she has passed.
