I think back to when Karen and Jim first met. It was like a match made in heaven. They would sit in the living room very dark, and would kiss on the sofa. My mom was forever telling my little sister, and I to leave them alone, and we tried telling mom that they won’t stop kissing, that was the beginning of a very long relationship with Jim and our family. He was definitely one of a kind and we loved him for it. He was such a funny guy when he came to visit. He brought other navy guys home with him and they were just as crazy as he. He had this crazy habit of telling us to pull his finger and we just laugh and laugh and laugh. I love you Jim we all love you the muskies in Lake Wissota are now saved. See you again one day. God bless.

I'm so sorry to hear of Jim's passing! I was fortunate to have been in his circle of friends at UMO. Jim's wit and legendary story telling ability provided much needed relief from the stress of preparing for exams. Jim was a serious student, though, and as I recall he graduated from UMO with high honors.
My deepest sympathy to Karen and the family. Rest in peace, my friend.
