Abbot – James M. Bickford, 74, passed away February 19, 2024, at Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston. He was born February 12, 1950, in Abbot, the son of the late Ivory and Elizabeth (Mitchell) Bickford. James was an avid Red Sox fan and he would watch every game. He is survived by his brother, Mark Bickford. In addition to his mother and father, James was predeceased by his two brothers, Collin and Robert Bickford. Burial will be in the Village Cemetery in Abbot. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Lung Association in Maine, 122 State Street, Augusta, ME 04330.
