Obituary of Wanda I. Purdue
Brownville Junction- Wanda I. Purdue, 94, wife of the late Kenneth E. Purdue, passed away December 12, 2016, at her home. She was born March 14, 1922, in McAdam, New Brunswick, the daughter of Alfred and Catherine (Nason) Miller. Wanda was a member of the Echo Chapter #39 OES and St. John’s Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Wallace; son, Ronald Purdue and his wife, Johanna; two grandsons, Joseph and Andrew Purdue; great-grandson, Dakota Purdue; great-grandaughters, Mercedes and Sierra Purdue; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Kenneth, she was predeceased by her brother, Neven Miller; sister, Pearl Mersereau; and son-in-law, Thomas Wallace.
A memorial service will be conducted 1pm Monday, December 19, 2016, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Brownville Junction, with Rev. Kevin Holsapple officiating.
