When I think of Susan and Benny, I recall two of the most wonderful and sweet people I have ever known. Susan was always positive, smiling, and upbeat in high school. When I worked at EMMC, I was aware of her accomplishments in the Radiology Department and very proud that she was also a Penquis High School alumni. I knew Benny and the Dow boys from back when I lived in Bowerbank. Benny was always a character with that mischievous grin, but absolutely one of the nicest people you could ever meet! I was overjoyed when they married knowing they would be amazing together. It is a heartbreaking loss to family and friends with the only consolation being that they are truly together forever.

Had so much fun in high school with Susan. We use to have tons of fun in the library. We would both wear black pantyhose and slip off our shoes under the tables. Susan always had her nails looking pretty too.

Two angels on earth! Our prayers are with the family. We knew Susan growing up in Milo and went to St.Paul’s with her and the Carey kids.

In this painful moment, let us celebrate the remarkable lives of Ben and Susan, two beacons of wisdom, intelligence, and benevolence. Their undeniable impact on our community will live on for generations. While physically gone, their spirit continues to illuminate through Ashlee’s and Kelly's radiant smiles. Growing up with them, I remember their beautiful smiles and active souls. When you miss their presence most keenly remember that through your actions they continue to exist among us – just as my parents do within their grandchildrens' laughter, presence echoes on. My heartfelt empathy goes out to all grieving this tremendous loss.

Kelly and Ashlee, My sincere condolences to you and your families for the tragic loss of your parents. I have memories of your Dad in high school and in later years with them both watching the Stump Jumpers play in the local softball league. Hoping your many family memories can offer you comfort in the days ahead. Thinking of you both.

Growing up in Sebec Village in the '60's , I knew Benny as an honest friend to everyone. No one had a bad word about him, and he had no bad words for anyone else. He examplified excellence, and will be missed by so many.
Though I haven't seen Benny in many years, I have so many fond memories of hanging out with him and other friends at the lake.....and of course, at the "Rat's Nest"!
My heart-filled condolences to the Dow family, Susan's family, and their beautiful children.

Broken hearted to hear this extremely sad news, Although it has been many years since I saw Bennie last I still remember the warm memories of him back at FA.
I can still remember the long distance he threw the javelin and his times on the football field.
Rest well my friend, your time on this world has come to an end. I can only hope and pray that your dogs are wagging their tails to greet you when St. Peter opens his gates for the both of you.....Greg Lind

In solemn remembrance of a gentle soul, Susan's kindness and thoughtfulness knew no bounds. Her passion was vividly reflected in their steadfast belief in others, for it was her who took a chance on an outsider from a different X-ray School like myself. Her legacy will forever be etched into the hearts of many; Reading this obituary shows they truly were irreplaceable pillars of our community. My Heart is with you All~
