Charlene or Mrs. French was an elementary school teacher a neighbor to my Grandfather director of the D-F Methodist Church choir while having 5 children with John and still she was a smiling hard worker who gave out to others. Very sorry with her death.

To John, Michelle, Teresa, Kevin, Cheryl, and your families, I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Charlene at BSB many years ago when she was a part-time teller. My favorite memory of that time was when she and I went to a banking class in Bangor one evening. It was so foggy on the drive home, we could hardly see the lines in the road. She hung out the driver's side window, and I hung out the passenger side window, both of us watching for the painted lines and the possibility of animals crossing the road. We got home safe and sound, but neither of us remembered going through the small towns on the way from Bangor to Dover-Foxcroft. We chuckled about that stressful drive home several times. Rest in Peace, Charlene.

Charlene was a wonderful lady. A few years back at one of the bean suppers at church I got to have a great conversation with her while she collected money. We started out discussing Tres Dias, but it soon turned to grandchildren and great grandchildren, Her eyes lit up when she talked about them. Her family was definitely her world. I will miss seeing her beautiful smiling face at church on Sundays. My sincere condolences to John and the family. Sending prayers,

My condolences to Charlene’s family. I spent my early years in education teaching with Charlene where she was a mentor and friend who took me under her wing. She was a talented, caring and wonderful lady; always there for her students and colleagues. Family meant everything to Charlene and I am sure her passing will leave a large void in your family. The wonderful memories you have of Charlene will give you comfort in days to come.
