Obituary of Peter R. Dunham
Greenville- Peter R. Dunham signed off on life on May 5, 2024 at the age of 62. He is survived by his sisters, Marianna (Penny) Villacci, Catherine Wood, Candace Longyear, and Bonita Doughty. He was born April 19, 1962 in Portland, Maine, son of the late Edward and Mildred Dunham.
Peter did EVERYTHING; played drums, fly fished, camping, hunting, talented artist, downhill, cross country, water skied and worked on snowmobiles. He lived and breathed Artic Cat! He was self-employed as a property manager and landscaper. Peter had a gift with animals, he truly loved his dogs. Cross fire was his beloved golden retriever.
“Peter was the Man you could count on” Dave Hall said.
Peter got up every morning and went to work. He operated a zero-turn mower and was a driver for the Greenville ITS groomers. Tied a knot with one hand. Peter plowed the family camp driveway with an old school plow dual control in standard transmission truck with no power steering. Peter overcame all obstacles. The remarkable work he could get done and do, was always mind blowing.
So have a cup of coffee with a friend and bull sh#t about his antics or harmless pranks. Peter took pride in his work and it showed. Loved and respected by so many in Greenville and beyond. Love you Bro.
Friends are invited to visit with the family in a celebration of Peter’s world to be held at 3B1 FBO Hangar, 4 Airport Road Greenville. Sunday Funday, June 9, 2024, 12:00 – 3:00pm. For information email: bonitadoughty@yahoo.com.
