Obituary of Scott W. Lufkin
Lagrange – Scott W. Lufkin, 61, passed away June 4, 2024, at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor. He was born April 5, 1963, in Milo, the son of Eugene L. and Velma M. (Plourde) Lufkin.
Scott was a hard working, self-described workaholic. He was never at a loss for a project or a job that needed to be done. Scott was extremely clever and there was nothing he couldn’t fix, build, or invent to accomplish what he set his mind to. He could move and set a house trailer in ways nobody thought possible, or fell a tree with the help of a self made gadget to work smarter not harder.
He loved his family and especially enjoyed extended family gatherings and would always bring Claudia or one of his boys along with him, so they could share those special times that he loved. Scott will be deeply missed by many, including long-time friends, Melanie and Avon Stanley, Melanie and Tommy Stanley, and Richard LaBree. He will always be remembered for his eagerness to lend a hand to help others, whether family, friend, or stranger.
Scott is survived by his wife, Claudia (Bolduc) Lufkin; three sons, Billy Knowlton, Kenneth Lufkin, and Edward Lufkin; eleven grandchildren, Carolyn, Kylee, Layla, Connor, Mildred, James, Damien, Blake, Mark, Jolene, and Carson; three stepchildren, Randy Adams, Travis Adams, and Shalene Cody two brothers, Gerald Lufkin and his wife, Betty, and Carroll Lufkin and his wife, Diane; two sisters, Orilla Dionne and her husband, Robert, and Pamela Loughlin and her husband, Christopher; sister-in-law, Cathy Lufkin; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, and brother, Clyde Lufkin.
