Obituary of John H. Page

Sangerville- John H. Page, 70, passed away July 27, 2024 in Bangor. John was born October 19, 1953, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Keith C. and Arlene F. (Waymouth) Page. John was a gentle giant, very reserved, often seemingly stoic to many. Underneath his reserved exterior, he had a great love for family, friends and animals. John lived and farmed his whole life in Sangerville with his brother, Keith Jr., and his dad, Keith Sr., prior to his dad’s passing. His mom, Arlene, was truly his best friend and the glue that held their family together. He is survived by his daughter, Hannah Page, of Ohio, and grandchildren, Leanna, Lelan and Alayna; brother, Keith Page, Jr. of Sangerville; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Dorsey Littlefield. John had recently adopted a special kitty whom he named Moonchild. She brought endless hours of laughter and companionship to him. Remember John with kindness to family, friends and animals. Donations may be made to favorite animal shelters or food pantries accepting pet donations for the elderly and people in need. Visitation will be held 1:00pm Thursday, August 1, 2024, until time of funeral service at 2:00pm at Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft, with David Mumford officiating. Burial at Knowlton Mills Cemetery, Sangerville, will be immediately following the funeral. Following the burial there will be refreshments at 261 Doughty Hill Road, Sangerville.
