This is a beautiful tribute to a lovely lady. Joyce was in my mother’s class at Foxcroft Academy. When I was fortune enough to see her or talk to her on the telephone,, she always asked about my mom, and she visited her at the nursing home on her visits to Dover-Foxcroft. Cherish your memories of your mother and grandmother, and know that she was loved by many in her hometown in Maine.
