Obituary of James Russell Fuller
Blanchard - James Russell Fuller, 84, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born November 3, 1939, to Wendell and Miriam (Hitchcock) Fuller Sr. in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
He is survived by his daughter, Suzan and her husband, Michael McNicholas; his son, Gary and his wife, Cheryl Fuller; his daughter, Lori and her husband, Russ Dreiling; eight grandchildren: Jeremy, Nathan, Brian, Jason, Alex, Chase, Patrick, and Ashley; and he was a proud grandfather to five great-grandchildren: Sean, Roxas, Jaydn, Greydon, and Holden. James was preceded in death by his first wife, Cecile Fuller (Huberdeau), and his second wife, Norma Fuller.
At the age of 17, James joined the Navy, where he served for 25 years before retiring. After his military career, he helped manage the Brunswick Gun Shop until he officially retired and relocated to Blanchard, Maine. His passions included hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and ATV riding. One of his favorite activities was vacationing at Yellowstone Park.
James was an extraordinary man who accomplished many remarkable things throughout his life. He will be dearly missed and cherished by everyone who knew him.
A memorial service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the Lary Funeral Home, Dover-Foxcroft with Rev. Gail Januskiewicz officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
