South Berwick and Greenville – Dorinda M. Somers, 76, passed away peacefully January 10, 2025, at Avita of Wells. She was born April 8, 1948, in Greenville, the daughter of Malcolm E. and Dorothy I. (Ryan) Collins. Dorinda was a gifted and respected teacher. She was an avid gardener and creator of many beautiful gardens. Dorinda is survived by her husband, Joseph Somers; sister, Wanda Gary and her husband, Walter; brother, Mick Collins and his wife, Pam; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was predeceased by her parents. A graveside memorial service will be held in the spring in the Greenville Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
