Sangerville – Eugenia “Jeannie” R. Clukey, 74, passed away peacefully January 12, 2025, at her home. She was born October 20, 1950, in Waterville, the daughter of Royce and Ruth (Elkins) Temple. Jeannie Clukey was a woman with a big personality and a heart full of love for her friends and family. She worked at Dexter Shoe for over 15 years, as well as at a bakery and cleaning houses. Jeannie cherished time spent at camp with her husband of 57 years. After giving her life to Jesus in her 50s, her faith became a central part of her life. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts. Jeannie is survived by her loving husband, Michael Clukey; two daughters, Crystal Clukey Moore and Heather Clukey Jacobson and her husband, Sande Jacobson; three grandchildren, Boleyn Moore, and Selah and Sarai Jacobson; brother, Hadley Buker and his wife, Ella; and nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Richards, Gregory Richards, Teresa Hughes, Carrie Ann Stupakewicz, Heidi Packard, Sabrina Ivory, and Jamie Powers. She was predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Pamela Powers A time of visitation will be held 2PM Saturday, January 18, 2025, until time of funeral service at 3PM, at the Lary Funeral Home, 62 Summer Street, Dover-Foxcroft, with Pastor Ken Graves officiating. Burial will be in the Sangerville Village Cemetery in the spring. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
