Carroll and I were so saddened over the passing of Neson. He was a great guy. Always spoke and had that big smile. Our families were connected some how and that's something to be proud of.

Dear Madeline and family,
Crossing the miles with hugs for you all. Nelson was a gentle and beautiful soul who always had a smile for me and welcomed me into your circle with sincere hospitality. He was a truly gifted artist. Seeing his work, you knew he was close to the Creator whose creation he so beautifully expressed by his hands. I know you will all miss him terribly... you are such a close family. But blessed be the tie that binds... we will see him again someday. I know you will be blessed by that truth in the days ahead.
Lovingly,
Georgia Hamlin

Nelson was one of the kindest people we have ever met. Walking by his camp on Schoodiclake & just waiting for him to come out & chat with that big smile on his face. He was always asking about others & never wanted any of the attention for himself. We are better people just having had a friend like Nelson in our lives. Our hearts go out to Madeline and his children. May God bring you peace & rest during this difficult time.
