Very sorry to hear about Roger, Suzanne. I know that you will miss him very much. I worked for him when I was a student at UMO. I was always enjoyed talking to him about the woods. And I will always treasure the camping trips that I went with Paul, Scott, and Roger.

My deepest sympathies for your loss. I was an intern for Roger while a student at Unity College. I worked for Roger and Paul Johnson in the summer of 1980 in Greenville. It was quite the learning experience for me as we traveled throughout the region conducting numerous water quality studies, catching fish, and camping. I will never forget Roger's quiet but benevolently determined demeanor. I was fortunate to have known him.

I became a neighbor of Roger in Barrows Cove on Moosehead lake in 1972, became a friend thereafter and remained so until the end. Ice out and Spring In won't be the same. Rest easy Pal. We'll do our part to help preserve your legacy.
