Greenville – Richard H. Jones, 79, beloved husband of Bonnie (King) Jones, passed away April 6, 2017, at his home. He was born October 6, 1937, in Greenville, the son of Sanford and Ruth (McIntyre) Jones. A U.S. Army veteran, Dick had worked at Moosehead Manufacturing for many years. He had been the sexton of the Greenville Cemetery for 23 years and was extremely proud of this. He enjoyed grooming the snowmobile trails, fishing, and going for rides with his wife. Dick is survived by his wife, Bonnie; a daughter, Wanda Mukherjee; two step-daughters, Helen Leavitt and her husband, Joey, and Tina Smart; a sister, Nancy King and her husband, Donald; and several grandchildren. He will be remembered by a favorite friend, Tammy Philbrook. There will be no services at this time. Burial will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
