Obituary of Jess G. Daigle

Greenville- Jess G. Daigle, 70, passed away peacefully April 12, 2017, at the Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital, Greenville, with his best friend, Michael Churchill, at his side. He was born July 13, 1946, in St. Zacharie, Quebec, Canada, the son of Eugene and Marquerite (Parent) Daigle. A U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran, Jess was a proud member of the American Legion Post 94 in Greenville, and the Greenville Fire Department. He was a Greenville High School graduate, Class of 1965 and owned and operated Daigle’s Garage. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Noyes) Daigle of Greenville; his daughter, Dr. Kristin Glavine and her husband, Josh of Lunenburg, MA; his grandson, Kellan Glavine of Lunenburg, MA; two brothers, Real Daigle of Fairfield, and Serge Daigle and his wife, Lydia of Houlton; four sisters, Helleyette Lachance and her husband, Giles of Ashland, Pauline Saucier of Holden, Lise Belyea of Presque Isle, and Josclyn Roderick of Arizona; his uncle, Welle Parent and his wife, Giselle of Quebec, Canada; two sisters-in-law, Beattie Martin and her husband, Herbie, and Deana Ryder and her husband, Mahlon, all of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jess’s life will be held 1-3pm Saturday, April 22, 2017, at the American Legion Post 94, Greenville. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
