Obituary of Omer W. Servant

Greenville - Omer W. Servant, 95, passed away June 5, 2017, at Charles A. Dean Memorial Hospital, Greenville.  He was born November 20, 1921, in Fall River, MA, the son of Charles and Elmine (Hebert) Servant.  Omer was a proud member of the U.S. Army and an avid legionnaire in American Legion Post 94, Greenville. He will be remembered as a hard worker while he was employed by the Providence Railroad and Stover Plywood in Greenville before retiring from Moosehead Manufacturing in Monson. Omer loved to watch the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox, and he could always be found complaining about the Red Sox Manager. 

He is survived by his son, Ernest Servant and wife, Kathryn, and his daughter, Lorraine Servant, all of Greenville. Omer was predeceased by his loving wife, Arlene (Shufelt) Servant, and numerous brothers and sisters. 

A Celebration of Omer’s Life will be held 12-3PM Saturday, June 10, 2017, at the American Legion Post 94, Greenville.  Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Greenville. Messages of condolence may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
