My deepest condolences to the Hamlin family. It was always a pleasure to see him at Lumbra Hardwoods, when he would stop in to say hi and visit with his son, Brian. Such a sweet man. Very sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your families loss. I remember growing up in the Brownville Community Church with Bob as one to look up to. Bob was always kind with others and I can never remember him without smiling. Know that our family is thinking of yours at this time. Know he is enjoying his new chapter in life with Jesus by his side.

Bob Hamlin is an inspiration to all he contacted. He was most welcoming and warm. A great story teller and always had a joke for the occasion. Bob was a positive force in our Post 41 American Legion Meetings. We feel blessed to have known Bob.

We were very sad to hear of Bob's passing. He will be missed by all who knew him.I always think of him when I walk the ''Cove Rd''.If he was on the road in a car he always stopped and told me a joke or two. Bob had a contagious laugh.Prayers to you Nell & family. <3

Nell, Jan & Brian: Joanne and I wish to express our heartfelt condolences for the loss of the best friend to so many! Bob could "light up" any room or space he was in! Back in our snowmo-bile years, we had so many great trips with Bob "in the lead"! The only way to get him to slow down was to get in front of him. Way back in my teens, Bob and I rode horses together! And, the last football team at Milo High featured Bob Hamlin as a running back. In fact, he is the only player I can remember when I was a young boy in the 30's watching from the sidelines. I have so many memories, as do others, and they are all positive. And, I still marvel at him jumping out of plane on his 90th birthday - unbelievable! Rest in Peace, Bob, and thanks for all the guidance and fun you provided for me!

I am sorry for the loss of Bob and for the sorrow it causes you and your family.
I knew Bob when we both worked at GNP Woodlands. Bob was easy to be with and was a pleasure to talk to. A real gentleman. Bob helped me on numerous occasions, which I appreciated and will remember.

So sorry to hear of Mr Hamlin's passing.I always called him that and he would say"call me Bob".We got the pleasure of meeting him and his wife when we moved here 12 years ago.He always had a joke or story for anyone he met.He will be missed by many.
