Obituary of Ronal E. Sudsbury

Sangerville - Ronal E. Sudsbury, 75, husband of Evelyn (Carle) Sudsbury, passed away August 12, 2017, at a Brewer nursing home.  He was born May 29, 1942, in Portland, the son of Elwood and Estelle (Johnson) Sudsbury. He had worked at Eastland Woolen Mill for many years, and then at Dexter Shoe for 27 years.  Ronal was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish and ride his ATV.  He coached softball for many years and was an ASA Umpire.  He treasured his special place at Balsam Woods Campground in Abbot.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn; a son, Stephen Sudsbury; a daughter, Stephanie Sudsbury; a son, Scott Campbell; a son, Eric Campbell; a daughter, Brenda Campbell; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He also leaves a brother, Thomas Sudsbury and his wife, Marie, of Enfield, CT; and a sister, Sharon Eaton and her husband, Michael, of Dexter. He was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Scott Sudsbury.
