Uncle Jean had a way about him that always lit up a room. He usually had a story, a joke or a wise crack that brought a smile to your face. Those rooms are going to be a bit dimmer without him in them but the memories will never fade away.
I was very happy to see him and Aunt June at my dads funeral, and even though that was the first time I had been around him in many years, he still found a way to make me laugh.

Dear Aunt June, Jodi, Jon, + Jeff + families,
Our deepest sympathy to each of you.... Uncle Jean was a favorite of many.... he always had a way to make you laugh....his smile remains in my memory.... always a little note on the annual Christmas card...always a pleasure to chat with him when he visited Ct....I now hold close to my heart our last telephone conversation a few short weeks ago....Proud to be his oldest niece.... so sorry we are unable to be there on Monday.... you are all in our thoughts + prayers....
