Obituary of Christopher M. Crecelius

Milo – Christopher M. Crecelius, 22, passed away October 15, 2017. He was born June 14, 1995, in Glendale, AZ, the son of James I. Crecelius and Lori M. Brown.

Chris enjoyed camping, hunting with his dad and grandfather, as well as trapping and fishing. He was the sweetest boy in the entire family, and was very loving and protective of those he loved.  Chris was very intelligent, and will be remembered for his slightly sarcastic sense of humor. Chris was a good singer and enjoyed listening to and singing Johnny Cash.  Because he loved music he taught himself to play the piano. He enjoyed playing basketball, watching new movies with his mom and friends, and playing Dungeons and Dragons and video games with his friends.

Chris is survived by his father, James Crecelius; his mother, Lori Brown and her fiancé, Tim Wemp; a sister, Amanda Brown; a niece, Karlye McLaughlin; 3 nephews, David McLaughlin, Jentzen Jalbert, Evan Jalbert; his maternal grandmother, Helene Brown; his paternal grandmother, Lotte Crecelius; his paternal grandfather, Charlie Crecelius; his paternal great-grandmother, Marian Crecelius; four aunts, Danielle Garcia, Charlene Hennard, Christy Mesa, and Janet Estrella; two uncles, Ted Brown and Mike Brown; his step-father, David Krueger; three stepbrothers, Bryan Garver, Christopher Garver, and Daniel Garver;his great aunt and uncle, Esther and Emery McKenzie;  many other great aunts and uncles; and hundreds of cousins. He was predeceased by a grandfather, Horace Brown, Sr; and his adored great-grandfather, Fred “Chris” Crecelius. He will be missed by his dog, Bootsie.

Memorial visitations will be held 3-5pm Sunday, October 22, 2017, at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo.
