Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Joan. She was a beautiful lady. As a child, Joan made many of my clothes. They were beautiful. She and my Mom (June Vickers) were great friends and belonged to clubs together. Many cups of tea together and cherished memories. Your Dad and my Dad (Gilfred Vickers) worked for many years together on the CPR, when they were on the passenger trains. They had a great time together. We lost my Mom in 2013 and loved visiting Brownville Jct. and seeing her in church and we would have a great chat. Savor your memories and know you were all loved over the moon and back.
Thinking of your family, I just learned Joan passed.
May Joan rest in Peace, and may our Heavenly Father hold her in the palm of His hand.
