I'm very sorry for your loss, Crockett family. I have dear and lasting memories of Larry as our Scoutmaster. He successfully walked the line between being our leader and being our friend. He did so by being human first, and an authority figure second. I learned a lot from him, and I appreciate his efforts so much more now that I, too, am a father. Rest in peace, Larry - thank you for helping to teach me and Roy and many others how to be a good man.

My dear friend since birth. We grew up together, and grew old together. Larry was always there to help me drag another old car home when we were kids, and lately helping us move back to our old home across the street from him in Dover-Foxcroft. Sleep well, old friend, and save me a seat by the fire.

He always wanted to go on a cruise and in May of 2015 he got his chance to cruise to Bermuda. He loved it so much he went the next year too
