Obituary of Robert A. Doiron
Brownville Jct. - Robert A. Doiron, passed away peacefully January 1, 2018, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born September 12, 1927, in Lac Megantic, Quebec, the son of Joseph and Claire (Moore) Doiron. Robert served in Europe during WWII with the U.S. Army. He worked for the Canadian Pacific Railroad as an Engineer until his retirement.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Doiron of Kentucky, and Richard Doiron and his wife, Bonnie, of Glenburn; four daughters, Deborah Kiefaber of Brownville Junction, Lynn Raymond of Vienna, Patricia Salley and her husband, Jerry, of Brownville, and Michelle Doiron of Washington; his brother, Douglas Doiron; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Robert was predeceased by his loving wife, Arlene R. (Meulendyk) Doiron; three brothers; and one sister.
At Robert’s request there will be no services. Burial will be in the family lot in Pinetree Cemetery, Brownville Jct.
