Oh I don't know where to begin. Joyce was a wonderful,caring and beautiful person inside and out. There is something about losing that last parent that hurts so bad you heart aches and the tears flow more than ever. She did live a long beautiful life and her family was her life and I know in my heart that she loved you all very much. We will always keep you in our prayers. Glenda and Jake time will heal your hearts but me myself you protected her and took wonderful care of her and her needs. May god bless you all. Take care. Hope to see and talk to you soon. Love ya

Weather at a Foxcroft Academy event, snowmobiling in Monson or visiting with others, Mrs. Brown always was smiling. She brought up a great family plus had and made many friends. Very sorry to all of her family and she will be missed by all.

Glenda, I just saw your mum's obituary on line. I am so sorry. I have such wonderful memories of your parents, from your father literally throwing us out of the back seat of your car somewhere outside of Oakland and driving off, of course, your mother made him return, but, alas, we were still in the ditch laughing, which did us no good, to the time your father caught us lighting matches by the gas tank underneath Bobbi's bedroom, spanked us both, and sent me up the hill to tell my mother, after I peed my pants because I was so scared. Not the best memory but one I never forgot because I realized all the parents were definitely on the same page. I remember the nights of tin can alley and flashlight played from the front porch of the house on Pleasant Street, sleepovers in my play house or your camp, studying math together all through high school, and both of our mothers highly involved in making sure we were safe. It does take a village, and Joyce Brown was very much a part of mine. She was the last mom of our immediate group, and I sure enjoyed seeing her for that very reason. I am deeply sad. Childhood may be officially over. My prayers are with you.
Jolene, Bobbi-Jean, and Robert, my prayers are also with you. She was a great lady.
And to you all, I am sorry I cannot be there to share her funeral with you. I certainly will be thinking of you all. Love, Dawn

Joyce was by far one of the best woman to have ever walked this earth. She spoke softly and her gentle ways were ever present. I was honored to be the other Grama beside her to Nicole, Danika and Kyra. She will truly be missed but the fond memories we all have of her will live on forever in our hearts.
