Obituary of John R. Mayhew

Sangerville – John R. Mayhew, 62, passed away May 5, 2019, at Mayo Regional Hospital, Dover-Foxcroft. He was born June 26, 1956, in Dover-Foxcroft, the son of Ralph D. and Marilyn (Martin) Mayhew. John worked for many years as a truck driver and will be remembered as a hard worker. He enjoyed building classic cars and detailing cars.

 John is survived by his loving wife, Ruby L. (Davis) Mayhew; two sons, Michael and Ryan Mayhew; brother, Weston Mayhew and his wife, Pranee; and two nieces, Sonya (Mayhew) Conner and her husband, Chris, and Luella McQuesten  He was predeceased by his sister, Linda McQuesten.

 A graveside memorial service will be held 11am Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the Pingree Center Cemetery, with Pastor David Ray Jr. officiating. Immediately following the service family and friends are invited back to the Parkman Grange Hall for a reception. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home.
