Obituary of Eva R. Smart

Orneville – Eva R. Smart, 89, passed away peacefully June 1, 2019, at Hibbard Nursing Home in Dover-Foxcroft. She was born September 28, 1929, in Garland, the daughter of George and Addie (Farmer) Hall. Eva worked in the Guilford Woolen Mill as a Spinner for many years.

Eva is survived by her three sons, Scott Smart, Monte Smart, and Randy Smart and his wife, Cindy; a special nephew, James Karpowicz and his wife, Brenda; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Maurice; two daughters-in-law, JoAnn, and Una; six brothers, Charlie, George, Gardner, Frank, Stanley, and Miles; and her sister, Thelma.

A graveside memorial service will be held 11AM Friday, June 7, 2019, at the Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, with Pastor Phil McGlauflin officiating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home. Messages of condolence and memories may be expressed at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
